In my works I examine the relationships between the real word and the represented one through looking at the borders between sculpture and photography - between the the three dimensional and the two-dimensional. Looking at the borders, I examine them in two ways. On the one hand, the transformation from a sculptural state to a photographic one. On the other hand, in reverse, the transformation of photograph to sculpture. My way of operating is based on a circularity of dismantling and assembly, on the material level as well as on the conceptual one. Everyday objects, somewhat banal, are changing their familiar shape, and newly reveal themselves by being sewn into new context or by being in physical contact with different material or through distortion of their familiar appearance. I acquire into the photograph medium and its relationship to the world - Is it possible to represent reality through photographic flatness, and how does this representation in return, affect the word.
